WHO ARE WE

St Andrews Methodist church is a group of people of all ages and backgrounds. We enjoy learning more about God together, supporting one another and sharing the good news about Jesus. We look for opportunities to serve our local community and be good news to others.

We are part of the Methodist Church of Great Britain and one of the churches in the Winchester, Eastleigh and Romsey Methodist Circuit.

Whether you are a life long believer or just want to know more, there is a place for you here.

CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

We love doing things all together - but our children and young people also love having their own space to learn and make friends.

ZIMBABWE FELLOWSHIP

Zimbabwe Fellowship is a large group with 35 branches all over UK. The Eastleigh branch started meeting at St Andrews Methodist Church - Eastleigh in 2003.

We meet once, in person, every second Sunday of the month at 12:30pm. After the Covid pandemic we continued with one Sunday a month on Zoom. We sing and preach in Shona and Ndebele (Zimbabwe native languages). The other two or three Sundays in the month we worship with our local British methodist churches.

We also have the groups such as, Women’s group – Ruwadzano/Manyano, Men’s Christian Union – MCU, Girls Christian Union – GCU and Boys Christian Union – BCU that meet regularly.

BISHOPSTOKE METHODIST CHURCH

Bishopstoke Methodist Church, Sedgwick Road, Sunday service is at 10.30am led by Revd Kate Cambridge and other preachers. On the last Friday of the month, we have ‘Coffee, Cake and Company’, an informal get together with homemade cake, from 10am – 12 noon.

Weekly on Fridays (not in August) we have our Ladies Friday Club from 2-4pm, an informal get together to chat on various topics, games and crafts. The last Friday of the month we join in with the morning coffee group.
